Music Criticism in the Age of the Digital Turn is a seminar promoted by the Conservatorio di Musica "Luca Marenzio" di Brescia. Structured in two complementary parts—a theoretical section led by Paola Molfino and Gianluigi Mattietti, and a practical, workshop-based section led by Attilio Cantore, Francesco Cristiani, and Stefano Dalfovo—the seminar examines the tools, practices, and challenges that currently shape music criticism. Particular attention is given to the implications of the digital turn for critical writing and cultural mediation, situating these developments within the broader framework of magazine studies and contemporary debates on publishing, media, and criticism.
