Modern worn brown cloth binding decorated with blind-stamped frames: small frames and phytomorphic motifs. – On the centre of the front board, inscription stamped in gilt letters: “Album Michelangiolesco”.

On the front pastedown, manuscript note in blue ink pen: “Plates 26 (twenty-six) Dini [?]”; label with probable manuscript shelfmark: I.1.98. – On the verso of the front endpaper, manuscript note: “Al sig. Conte Emilio Lazzoni Rappresentante l'Accademia Reale di Belle Artidi Carrara omaggio del Comitato promotore del Centenario di Michelangiolo Buonarroti. Il Presidente [...?]”; two inventory numbers: 6298 printed and crossed out, and 3064 in green ink pen. – Only 26 plates are present, numbered in pen, probably by E. Dini. – Leaves partially unsewn and detached from the book block. – Signs of wear.
