About The Work

The model was created by the second- and third-year students of the School of Architecture of the Academy of Fine Arts Carrara. During the academic year 1930–1931, the School, under the direction of Professor Ugo Prayer Galletti, devoted its studies to the Collegiata di Sant'Andrea di Carrara, now the Cathedral. The work was subsequently exhibited at the end-of-year exhibition of the Academy, inaugurated on 6 July 1931.
